Pulse
Pulse, in my opinion was fairly average. The plot was okay, the characters were okay, and the action was okay. Nothing stood out to me, it was just a book about people with superpowers. My problem was that the author waited until the middle of the entire book to spill out the secrets and tell about the powers. The powers are called "pulses". That's why the book is called Pulse.
The story is basically this: a girl, named Faith, with the help of a friend, realizes she has the pulse. Then Faith fights enemies, and yeah, that's it. The entire fist half of the book was boring, there was literally nothing going on, it wasn't exciting. This book was not suspenseful or dramatic in any way. I gave it a 3 stars because it was average, boring, but an average book.
