Icons
Icons by Margaret Stohl was a bit disappointing in my opinion. I expected a little more action and suspense, compared to her Beautiful Creatures series. Icons is a dystopian tale that was still enjoyable, but was disjointed and rough, writing wise. The beginning was pretty good, but in the middle it starts to get flat and boring with little to no action involved. The ending was more exciting, but only a little more than the middle.
I felt the emotions of the characters weren't described as much in the story. Otherwise, the book was good. I would rate this a 2.5 or 3 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐
